For agencies and consultancies

The cost and process questions buyers ask before they ever call you.

Consulting buyers research in private and arrive late. The pages that reach them are the ones nobody wants to write: what it costs, how long it takes, what a good brief looks like. Vupie writes them from your own engagement data, with the ranges you approve.

The ranges your competitors will not publish

Computed from your last eleven engagements, in weeks

Discovery phase 4–7 weeks
Design and build 9–16 weeks
Handover 2–4 weeks

Held for your approval. Nothing from your engagement data is published until you release it.

Illustrative figures. The real ranges are computed from your own delivery data, and you decide whether they go out as numbers, as a structure without numbers, or not at all.

The page nobody wants to write

What it costs.
How long it takes.
What you turn down.

Business analysis

What we read before we plan anything.

The 90 day plan is not a keyword list bought from a tool. It is built from what is already connected to your account, which in consulting means these four things first.

The full method
01

Your service and case pages

What you actually sell, in your language. The plan is built to feed those pages, not to build a parallel blog that never links to them.

02

Your own engagement data

Durations, phase splits and ranges, where you allow it. A scoping guide with your real numbers in it is the one piece of content in this industry that cannot be copied.

03

Brand and service queries

Search Console separates people looking for you from people looking for what you do. The second group is the addressable one, and it is usually much larger.

04

The questions that repeat in sales calls

You answer them ten times a month on calls. Each one is a page that should have answered it first.

Where the plan aims

The four clusters that carry consulting traffic.

Priority goes to queries you already sit close to, because those are the ones a well-sourced article can actually move.

Cost and scoping

"what does [service] cost", "[service] pricing models", "how long does [phase] take"

Method and process

"how does a [service] engagement work", "[framework] explained"

Buyer education for the RFP stage

"how to brief a [type] agency", "[service] RFP template", "questions to ask a [type] consultant"

Sector and capability terms

"[service] for [sector]", "[capability] consultant [market]"

The output

What actually lands on your site.

1

What it costs, with real ranges

Built from your engagement data, published only in the form you sign off on. This is the page competitors will not write and the one buyers search for.

2

Method explainer

How a phase actually runs, what the client has to supply, and where engagements go wrong. Sourced to your own delivery material.

3

How to brief and choose a supplier

Deliberately useful to people who might not pick you. It is also the piece assistants quote when someone asks how to hire for this.

4

Anonymised benchmark

Aggregates across your engagements, published only where the aggregate cannot be traced back to a client.

Two or three a week

The questions only you can answer.

Research retrieves what is public. It cannot retrieve what only exists inside your business, and guessing it is exactly how AI content gets caught. So before writing, Vupie sends the two or three questions it cannot answer to you by SMS or Slack.

Answering takes a minute, and the answer becomes the part of the article nobody else can publish. In consulting, they usually look like this.

Vupie SMS or Slack

The discovery-phase range came out at 4 to 7 weeks across your last eleven projects. Publishable as-is?

May we name the retail client in the anonymised case, or keep it at "a Nordic retailer"?

What kind of work do you turn down? Saying it publicly filters your inbound.

Answered

The model may cite only from the retrieved source list plus what you answer here. Anything else is refused.

The gate

What we decline in consulting.

Worth reading before you sign up rather than after. A refused brief frees the slot and you see the reason, but if most of your topics sit on this list then Vupie is the wrong tool for you and we would rather say so now.

What we don't claim

Legal, tax and financial advice

Blocked on the default pipeline. A consultancy in those fields can still run the link network and the AI-visibility side, but the article engine will decline the briefs.

Client names without written confirmation

No client, logo or case detail appears until you confirm it in the approval step. Anonymised is the default.

Success rates and outcome claims

Any performance number is computed from your data or it is not published. No "we typically deliver 3x" without the arithmetic behind it.

Publishing

The usual setup here.

Most consultancies are on WordPress or Webflow. Where the main site is locked down by an agency retainer, the hosted blog runs on your own subdomain instead.

Thirteen destinations in total, including a webhook and a hosted blog for sites with no usable CMS. See every integration.

Questions

What consulting teams ask.

Then we publish the structure without the numbers: what drives cost, what a phase contains, what makes an engagement expensive. It still ranks. The numbers are always your call in the approval step.

Nothing from a client engagement is published unless you approve that specific line. The default posture is aggregate and anonymous, and the questions we send you exist precisely so this decision stays yours.

Connect the site. See the plan before anything publishes.

The business analysis runs first and produces a rolling 90 day calendar you can see and change. Nothing goes live until you have looked at it.
