Of every invoice for the referred subscription, for the lifetime of that subscription. It is paid every month the subscription stays active.
Attribution window
90 days
A visitor who arrives through your link is attributed to you for 90 days from the first click. Subscribing inside that window records the referral.
Hold period
30 days
Each commission is held for 30 days after the invoice is paid, matching the refund window, and is released when the hold ends.
Minimum payout
$50
Released commission is paid monthly through Stripe once the balance reaches $50. A smaller balance carries to the next run.
Referrals can convert to Starter at $69 per site per month, Growth at $249 per site per month, or Agency from $499 per month for ten client sites. Annual billing is 20% less, and commission is paid on the amount actually invoiced. Self referrals are not eligible.

The Agency figure uses the entry price of $499. Annual billing is 20% less, and commission follows the amount actually invoiced, so a referral on annual billing pays 25% of the lower figure.

How attribution works
You get a link and a code
Approved partners receive a referral link and a referral code. Both resolve to the same partner record, so a customer can type the code at signup instead of using the link.
A visit starts a 90 day window
A visitor who arrives through the link or enters the code is attributed to you for 90 days from that first visit. The first attribution set inside the window is the one that holds.
The subscription records the referral
When the visitor subscribes, the referral is written to the site record rather than held in the browser. It stays there through plan changes, upgrades and downgrades.
Commission is held, then paid
Each commission is held for 30 days, matching the refund window. When the hold ends the amount is released and joins the next monthly payout run.
The attribution lives on the site record
The referral is stored against the site, not against a cookie or a checkout session. A customer who moves from Starter to Growth, adds sites, or switches from monthly to annual billing stays attributed to you, and commission follows the new invoice amount.
Reporting covers the whole funnel
Reporting covers each referral from signup to verified to first publish, so you can see where a referral stopped rather than only whether it paid.
Rules
What the program does not pay
Your own subscriptions.
Self referrals are not eligible. A subscription on your own account, or on a site you own or operate, earns no commission, and the attribution is removed when it is found.
Refunded and charged back invoices.
Commission is calculated on invoices that stay paid. An invoice refunded inside the 30 day hold never releases. An invoice reversed after release is deducted from the next payout run.
Cookie stuffing and paid search on the Vupie brand.
Attribution set without a real visit does not count, and bidding on Vupie brand terms is outside the program. Attributions from either are removed and the partner record is closed.
Customers already attributed to another partner.
A customer who arrived through another partner inside the window stays with that partner. One subscription carries one attribution, and it does not pay twice.
These four rules are the whole list. Any other attributed subscription that stays paid earns commission at 25%.

Questions about the program.
Commission is 25% of each invoice, for the lifetime of the subscription. On Growth at $249 per site per month that is $62.25 per site per month, so ten active Growth sites is $622.50 per month. On Starter at $69 it is $17.25 per site per month. Annual billing is 20% less and commission is paid on the amount actually invoiced.
No. A subscription on your own account, or on a site you own or operate, is not eligible. When a self referral is found the attribution is removed and the commission is not paid.
Payouts run once a month through Stripe. A commission enters a run after its 30 day hold has passed and the balance has reached $50. A balance below $50 carries forward to the next run. Payout details are set up in Stripe.
The window is 90 days from the first visit through your link or code. If the visitor subscribes inside that window the referral is recorded on the site, and commission then continues for the lifetime of that subscription, well past the 90 days.

No. Commission is paid on subscriptions you refer directly. There is no second tier and no commission on partners introduced by other partners.
